Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress model TV host and comedian. The patient suffered from multiple organ failures, and her kidneys did not recover. Peritoneal dialysis, and then hemolysis became her new normal. After 80 straight days in the hospital, from near-death to long road to recovery she finally got home, however the course of her life changed forever. Angelica had been on dialysis for a year-and-ahalf before she was finally ready to undergo the most important procedure of her life: a transplant of the kidney. The donor kidney would come from her mom. Angelica as well as her mom underwent the surgery to remove their kidneys successfully on 13 September 2013, at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals located across from each other. Angelica Hale's ambition to be the world's most famous person has never wavered.
